On this tool-making course you will learn how to make a blacksmith's basic tool kit. We will make a complete set of the most essential tools needed to get you started and to become self-sufficient. All the tools you make will be yours to keep. Once in possession of this toolkit, you will be able to go on to make more tools for yourself. Many people who have taken our Introduction to Blacksmithing Course find that this course is the next natural step. Toolkit Includes: - Punch/Hot Chisel - Hardy Cut Off - Fuller - Hardy Bending Fork The course is ideal for beginners who are setting up. This is a required course to become a member of our Blacksmithing Guild.
Cancellation Notice Required: For one or two day workshops, if you need to cancel or transfer to another class, it must be done within 7 days prior to the workshop date. Credit towards another class will be given at this time. If you become ill, or a personal issue comes up within 72 hours before the class, please feel free to send someone else in your place, we cannot refund your course fee. Just let us know who is coming. No Shows: If you fail to attend a class that you are registered for and have not observed our Notice Required policy, your class fee will not be refunded, nor will you be able to transfer your fee to a future class. Not Enough Students: Workshops: If there are less then 4 people registered in a workshop, we reserve the right to cancel 24-48 hours before the scheduled date. It would then be your choice to transfer to another class. Instructor Illness: In the event the instructor becomes ill, the class may be canceled on the actual day of the class. We will give you a full refund or transfer you to another class. Final Thoughts: We will send out a 48-hour courtesy reminder email and info package before the class, however we like to remind you that it is your responsibility to remember the date and time of the class in which you are enrolled.
