Join us monthly for designated Open Forge Days, an opportunity to learn the art and craft of Blacksmithing.
Open Forge Saturdays will include demonstration, Q&A, and hands-on smithing! Open only to previous students (min. 1 class).
Bring your curiosity and/or your current projects.

Blacksmithing is a unique craft. A skill that takes many, many years to master all the different aspects. It is not about mastering.. . it is more about the journey of pursuing it. Now, might just be the best time to hone those skills. Or you just want to go somewhere and hit steel for metal therapy. I get it. Lets do this.

PRE-REQUISITES:
All members must have taken Introduction to Blacksmithing and the Tool Making Class. The Tool Class is included in this First year membership. Subsequent years, membership cost is reduced to $100/month.
MEMBERSHIP:
Members will gain access to the full Blacksmith shop (anvil, forges, anvils and tools for one day each month). A 1 hr demonstration will be given on a particular topic each month to expand your knowledge and skill base. The rest of the time will yours to master your skills and work on your projects.
Consumables such as steel is not included in the membership fees, but the opportunity to purchase at our shop is an option.
PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (PPE):
Will be your responsibility. We will have the option to purchase our recommended PPE to make things easier for you if needed. (Apron, protective eyewear, ear plugs, gloves, etc).
SCHEDULE:
Due to shop space and scheduling between our regular course schedule, members only shop days for will be on a sign up basis. Each month you will have access to the shop for a full day, additional days are available at a members only price. Guild time cannot be banked. Each membership receives one full day a month and cannot be broken up or moved to another month.
PRIVATE LESSONS:
One-on-one private lessons are available for a membership price of $40/hr.
