"AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE"
"The Introduction to Blacksmithing class far exceeded my expectations! James was an amazing instructor who had us forging our first item right away with confidence. The projects we worked on were perfect for allowing us to try many different techniques during the day, really helping to build my confidence, and we’re great items to take home and enjoy! The small class size was great, with lots of feedback and instruction as required from both James and the other students. We were welcomed right from the start with fresh coffee and snacks, and the included lunch was a felicitous and great opportunity to get to know your fellow classmates. I cannot wait to go back to the forge for more classes!"
JAMES TOPHER / CALGARY, AB
I just finished the introductory blacksmithing course put on by James at his shop and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. We were welcomed onto his property by his lovely wife and invited into his shop. After a nice cup of coffee and a round of introductions we were suited up and ready to get to work. James has a very calm and patient demeanour which makes for an excellent instructor. It was a lot of fun being shown how to complete each step of the projects and been given the freedom to experiment to try and create a unique piece. I would highly recommend this experience with James to anyone looking to learn a new skill or try something different. Our group will be definitely booking another session to make something new."
